also, kise has found his own methods for misdirection & midorima has finally accepted that contacts don't go against his birth chart

and the number of stupid competitions only increases with years

… which is to say, they're all hot stuff, only some put more effort into it than others

(debated mostly which team would akashi be on – because ofc he does wake up perfect already? but i feel like he'd still put some effort into his looks, if only to try and act normal)

Day 2 - Kuroko Tetsuya

they play scrabble in duos bcs this friendgroup is the best at teamwork😃

MIDORIMA & AKASHI – they place words like „oxidized” or „whizbang”, are around 50 points ahead of other teams, it’s a renaissance of their friendship. midorima is also counting everyone’s points and joting them in his little notebook.

AOMINE & MURASAKIBARA – they place words like „dog” or „nope”, aomine is very very engaged but also very very dyslexic, murasakibara doesn’t help him at all. at some point aomine just starts adding letters at the end of already placed words, he’s kind of losing it.

KUROKO & KISE – 2nd on the podium, they place nicely sounding words like „faerie” or „melody”, they seem pretty chill compared to akashi, midorima and aomine, like they’re just having fun coming up with new pretty words. kuroko, though, actually wants to win badly and has some secret strategies that kise isn’t aware of. his favourite move is placing low scoring words on the spots with multipliers just to block akashi and midorima. 

MOMOI & KAGAMI – they only have a few more points than aomine and murasakibara, but because aomine’s making a fuss, they fly under the radar and are happy to be 3rd best. before that event they haven’t had many chances to talk so now they’re mostly bonding [this is my kagamomo agenda]

*it’s obvious that midorima won’t cheat (he’s too autistic for that) but kuroko is counting points on his own anyway. maybe midorima made a slip and him and kise should get more points????? (no, midorima never slips up in addition)

*actually murasakibara pays attention to the game, but doesn’t want to interfere with – what he considers – aomine’s strategy. he doesn’t really get the concept of cooperation in board games (i hc him as an only child who haven’t played any games with his parents except maybe for pick-up sticks. i believe he knows the rules of bridge just from watching his parents play with their rich friends) so he’d rather let aomine control the game, even though he easily comes up with high scoring words in his head (this team has the worst communication skills ever)
