How do we deal with project meetings that have to be reschedules? #KMb #AutistiQueers #communityColab #ProjectRefelection

While it would be great if everyone working together could always make set meeting times, that just doesn’t happen. Personally, I don’t really think about the need to update folks on a missed meeting or about rescheduling when I am planning for a project. This ends up meaning that the timeline and the workload are never quite on target. I’m also not sure about how to address rescheduled meetings…

When do you start KM planning?

There is no right answer to that question. It really depends on the project you are working on.

My worry comes from the history of researchers, experts, and others collaborating with communities for their own gain. Knowledge mobilization (KM) can get confusing for many reasons. One of those reasons is because KM projects can work to move knowledge, information, or both.

Personally, I think its really important to understand the difference between knowledge and information. This is partly because the forms of KM you will use would be different. More importantly, knowledge and information are very different.
