When do you start KM planning?

There is no right answer to that question. It really depends on the project you are working on.

Knowledge mobilization (KM) can get confusing for many reasons. One of those reasons is because KM projects can work to move knowledge, information, or both.

Personally, I think its really important to understand the difference between knowledge and information. This is partly because the forms of KM you will use would be different. More importantly, knowledge and information are very different.

I always find that starting a project to be the hardest. You have so much to organize and everything seems to take longer than planned. Poster on the topic of Addiction and Disability Studies.

When I started to work with the knowledge mobilization field (an area focused on helping share information) I wanted to explore my addiction and disability theory some.

Main question of the poster “why does looking at disability and addiction matter?”

I got in to the conference with a poster but I had never made one before. It was complicated and expensive.  I personally like presentations better because I can prep for a presentation in much less time.

Some of the conclusions, which said that these two areas working together could result in some interesting change to addiction and disability policy.

This poster really just shows how I began to compare and consider how addiction and disability theory might work together. Having no experience is it set up like a high school science poster.

Its a bit boring, but I’m still proud of it.
