Nate smiled at his daughter before focusing back on the game at hand. He could hear her excitement which fuelled his commitment to winning her a teddy bear she was eyeing up since they arrived at the funfair. He shook his right arm, squinting his eyes at the target shot. This was a rare day for Nate to have off so he planned to do it right, for once. Nate didn’t hesitate any further, throwing the ball at the target. The object shook before it fell. “Yes!” He cheered, looking back at his daughter, observing her eyes glow up. These were rare moments Nate knew he wouldn’t be geting back, and whilst he wanted to spend more time with his family, it was near enough impossile. Nate was handed the teddy which he passed over to her. “Where to next, sunshine?” He held her hand and was guided through the crowd till they reached the rides.
“I ain’t one for rides but I guess if she wants to go on, then rides it is.” He glanced over to the other by his side. “You joining or just spectating?”
