Like a wind through the streets, she came in to that clinic like it was her thousandth time there. She ran her fingers along the door frame, past the wall and circled the room. Hovering, briefly, along the various pill bottles, the surgical tools, the cybernetic limbs...
It was cold, callous, and impersonal. It resonated with Klim’s heart. It reminded her Rhizome 9.
“You’ve been busy,” she remarked. It was absent, a formality.
“You’ve been here a while, haven’t you?”
Another formality. It was understood she knew enough about the situation to find her way here, to meet him, but she acted ignorant nonetheless.
