Alice met Nicole when she was still a little lass, and now her name makes a whole lot more sense! Since the way Teyvat is structured, it essentially is a "rabbit hole" type situation where the deeper you go, the crazier it gets and it is wonderland with all the strange... Happenings.
The reason the Hexenzirkle was formed seems clearer now, since Alice wanted it even as a child it's clear it doesn't have an inherent higher intention and she just wanted friends, expanding and complicating it as she would rather grow up, which does lead me to believe she literally fell into Teyvat while she was bored, or chasing something but because of her not being able to find a way to get out until much later and due to how young she was her fate did get tied to Teyvat eventually, which probably has something to do with her job at the world's border. She also probably landed there(border) and was most familiar with it's instability, which is why she was "assigned" there.
I imagine Alice's homeplanet is something Frieren-esque, and she has already gone back numerous times but Teyvat is her personal wonderland and the reason that she picked Klee to grow up here is because out of all the world's she's gone to by now, she has the most authority in Teyvat so she can probably jump in at any time "danger" arises.
I also think her and Kleiner met as children now! I said previously that it was a meet cute but now I do think that they met while both "lost" like Alice wandering around and The Little Prince on the "strange" planet. That would be so kewt.

Kleiner has been on my mind recently. And I neeeeeeeed to get this out of my system.
I keep seeing fan designs of him and they're all so blond and bright(they're all great no shade to the artists and their imagination) but EVEN THOUGH I know that Hoyoverse isn't that progressive I cannot help but think Kleiner is alt.
He just is I'm sorry. The whole family can't be bright someone has to be different and well I don't think Klee is getting a sibling soon with Kleiner being away so much.
SO HEAR ME OUT, Kleiner has long black hair and he has a gothic style, wears mostly black but with a few touches of red and out of place accessories to remind him of both Klee and Alice, he's NOT short(hoyo isn't that progressive) infact very tall, his ears are fully pierced top to bottom, maybe an eyebrow piercing and I feel like he had cheek piercings at one point but he removed them so now he just has super pronounced dimples, he wears exclusively silver jewellery with atleast two rings on each finger with the exception of his gold wedding ring, he wears 2-3 bracelets with the little dangly thingys and very long necklaces, and he has red eyes which are the only things Klee got from him!! Loves smudged eyeliner
More headcannons I thought of:
Alice and him met at the border, it was a meet-cute since he was almost falling out of Teyvat but she managed to catch him
He used to wear a lot of spiky jewellery but stopped wearing them on his hands once he got together with Alice, and stopped completely once he had Klee but he still collects them
Avoids confrontation at ALL costs, he is less powerful than Alice but he has more abilities(if that makes sense)
Knows the most random people, also has the weirdest friends
Jewellery collector I have a feeling okay trust me
Super humble he does not accept that he can do stuff
Does not support Klee's bombings because he thinks she'll hurt herself(does he know the amount of fish that have lost their lives to the hands of his daughter)
Watched a Genshin video about the new lore drop regarding Klee's dad and they used the Loki Series to explain the Abyss
But what if we take it a step further and come up with a theory based on the Loki Series as an idea for Genshin's own story?

We know from Homeward, He Who Caught The Wind that Alice spoke to Venti about her husband Kleiner, who resides at Teyvat's boarders and is dealing with an incident involving another planet and can't come back just yet
Thanks to Dottore splitting the sky open and causing issues
Alice also mentioned how Barbeloth has a very sound theory on what the Abyss is and here's how it is similar to the Loki series: The Abyss is what happens when one choice is made and the other is destroyed and they want to make Teyvat pay
In Alice's example, she states that in one instance she chooses Sweet Madame for lunch and another version of her chooses Tea Break Pancakes, but the Tea Break Pancakes timeline is immediately destroyed because Alice chose Sweet Madame and that's why the Abyss fights back
With Loki, you have the TVA, an organisation who keeps the Sacred Timeline in check and purges any stray pathways and the timeline is managed by ancient beings, monitoring the flow of time
Sounding familiar isn't it?

Some people tasked with protecting the boarders and stopping the other realities from destroying the timeline
So then how do I bring both of these together even more? Well it's simple with the season 1 finale of Loki. In the final episode, Loki & Sylvie meet He Who Remains whom explains that he runs the timeline and he needs a successor. He chose them both but gives them a choice: Run the timeline together or kill him and everything goes downhill
Loki tries to reason with Sylvie, but she makes up her mind and kills He Who Remains and then branches spiral out of control, breaking everything and in season 2's finale, Loki ends up sacrificing himself by holding the timeline together and letting everyone else live on without him
But how does this work with Genshin? Well, my idea is that The Traveler and the Abyss Sibling meet Kleiner, the man who is protecting the boarders and wishes to go home, but he can't without someone taking his place. He chooses them both to do so and they have to either let him go home and watch the boarders, or slain him and the Abyss breaks through and causes a massive problem for Teyvat
And how to make this different to the Loki series, would be an option to have us, the player, be gives a choice to either allow Kleiner to go home and we watch the boarders with our twin or our twin kills Kleiner and the Abyss storms through Teyvat from outside the world
I mean they already gave us a duel option in the Little One world quest in Natlan
even though it was useless and pointless. but in this newest event, they did show us an alternative option of what happened if the Traveler wasn't in Monstadt at the time of Dvalin
But then if we do either of these then the Traveler can't stay behind when their journey isn't over. So, who can watch the boarders?
Well we do have a loyal companion who's been with us since the start and is our Emergency Food...
For this to happen at either expense, we tell Paimon to stay at the boarders and protect it if Kleiner goes home or dies and we continue on without her, having Paimon take the path of Loki from the season 2 finale
