Klance fantasy of the day

Griffin is a jerk. I can see him questioning the lion lineup somehow. Keith “discipline issues” Kogane as the leader? An anxious engineer, some cargo pilot who got lucky, and a little girl who snuck in?

He won’t deny Keith is a good pilot, but maybe the cargo pilot seems less worthy. Maybe he questions Lance’s position on the team. Goes to Keith, says, “Hey, you’re at the Garrison now, and you have better pilots to choose from. Why settle when you could have someone more skilled?”

Keith won’t have it, of course. He says no. Lance stays where he is.

Why?

“I can expect anyone at the Garrison to follow orders, to do their job. I trust Lance to have my back and do the right thing.”
