Guess who went to Costco! :D

We tagged along with a classmate that has a Costco card and spent a small fortune there- but trust me, none of it was wasted money (except for the chips and oreos...maybe).

Some things are not much cheaper at Costco, such as clothes, kitchen equipment, cereal and bread, but among things that saved us money compared to buying from a regular grocery store were: peanut butter, flour, condiments and spices, mozzarella and fresh mushrooms.

Next time we’ll aim for bringing home some of those sweet, sweet 2kg bags of frozen fruit~

Hi It’s Bella hijacking Alex´s blog.

Noh is a very old type of theatre where many actors wear masks to display the role they have in the play.

A couple of days ago I went to a Noh performance and got to try out some of the instruments! We were not allowed to film the performance itself, but we were able to film a taste of how the music sounds like. I had fun, but there is a lot of tradition that I did not fully understand. Very informative however, and I learned a lot about Japanese culture.

1. Describe yourself how you would describe a character you’re introducing

She sits on the couch bent over her laptop. The sound of her long nails tapping against the keys echo in the quiet apartment, accompanied only by the hum of the dishwasher. Her long red hair tangles with her hands, and she flicks it out of the way. She is heavyset, dressed for leisure in her black capri tights and oversized Tweety t-shirt. She looks pleased with herself — comfortable — as she continues to plot world domination.

4. Are there any other fic writers you admire? If so, who and why?

I am like, the worst at this. I don’t have favourite authors — I have favourite fics. I take it one work at a time, and if I’m ever asked to name writers I like, I get really confused. That having been said, I greatly admire z-delenda-est’s style, Copperbadge has consistently high quality works (he’s also amazingly fun to collaborate with) and TheCyborgThatCould will forever have my respect for writing what, in my opinion, is one of the best and funniest Losers fics ever. I will never stop loving this fic.

11. Weirdest thing you’ve ever written/thought about writing/etc.?

I don’t really DO weird? I mean, I don’t think I’m capable of writing crack, for an example (I’m just too serious and boring). So the weirdest thing I’ve written is a story that was meant to make fun of Twilight (but with werewolves) and the main characters — who were supposed to fall in love — were decided by rolling a pair of dice, and it somehow ended up being a book that I then printed. And people like it. This is the trainwreck also known as Alpha.
