Because both of them kept getting out then coming back with (sometimes but not always dead) birds, mice, moles, groundhogs, moose and hippos. Because I'm tired of wondering what I'm going to find bleeding on my sheets next. Because I don't always turn on the lights before I walk into a room and I don't want to be worried about what I might step in. Cold dead mouse anyone? Because Lenore brought a very alive and pissed off vole into my kitchen then let it go! (Give me strength) Edgar and Lenore got new bling. These are birdsbsafe anti-hunting collar covers and new collars that have reflectors and a bell. A loud and very obnoxious bell. This will hopefully prevent my tiny terrorists from sneaking up on anything else. Unless they are laughing too hard to run away. At the very least they remind me of really pissed off little clowns. Don't go feeling sorry for them though, they were warned. I really hope these work because apparently the stern talking to I gave them fell on deaf ears.
