I TRULY DONT GET IT LMAO my favorite is when people cite the catra defying hordak scene in the season 4 finale as “too harsh” as if he hadnt nearly killed her to show dominance on multiple occasions / was trying to kill her in that scene.......... also she read him like an open book 

i feel like im one of the few people who doesnt subscribe to the “glimbow had been together fully romantically since save the cat” theory a la noelle’s fic and that’s just because i think them admitting their feelings out loud for the first time in that scene as they’re about to be separated and run off into certain doom is rly ... idk cinematic? word choice BUT. yeah <3 i love their progression through s5 as is

i bet catra got new clothes once she actually got to bright moon and all that (bc we never see her like.... in a restful setting in s5 they’re Always fighting) but w/ adora i’ve heard it expressed that it’s a part of her identity she can’t let go of / etc. but honestly i think the bulk of it is . cartoon characters in tv shows usually don’t change outfits like that unless it’s a SUPER special occasion i.e. princess prom like ....... it’s usually one design and that’s it . i think adora should’ve ditched the whole horde uniform bt also i think it was more a production thing
