Headcanon ask: all the bird club #9
General physical contact headcanon
Okay, so, lil birb doesnât like invasive touchâlike, if he knows itâs coming he might appreciate a pat or something, but if he doesnât he just kinda reacts against it like itâs a foreign object. Heâd survive the alien invasion or scratch the heck out of some folks while trying. He prefers his own lil space and heâll stick to that plx and thx BUT! I kinda headcanon that boundaries arenât a thing when he gets to know someone? Like, the second he registers that youâre a friend your stuff and personal space may as well have âEishi Karasumaâ written on it. Your couch? our couch. And itâs not even like he knows heâs doing itâitâs just kind of subconcious. Heâll just progressively get more touchy once he knows heâs allowed to. Usually when heâs hyped/excited about something and not thinking about it, then you get a face full of Eishi. Heâs initiative with his touch I guess.Â
Kamoda seems p casual with touch? I headcanon that itâs not too big of a deal for him, though he does respect boundaries. Heâll like, do highfives or rub shoulders, but itâs not as though he shies away from that nor encourages it.Â
With Eishi, though, I think the boundaries blur a lot? Like heâll squisk his head like a basketball and heâll give him a noogie and its No Big Deal.
I kinda headcanon that Kamoda tries/tried to emulate a lot of Eishiâs stealth mode stuff when they were younger? Like his blending in, being able to pop up unsuspectingly. He only really applies it when heâs around the bball club.Â
Lil birb has no boundaries. Heâs one with the world. Every tree is an extension of himself. He can hear the colours of the wing (it was supposed to be âwindâ but I like the pun the typo made) However! I kinda think itâs the way that he experiences the world? Like he goes out and he touches things and thatâs how he learns. That one kid that didnât listen when the parents are like âdonât touch the FIREâ or âThe ants are evil will you stop poking that they will eat you and i will not cryâÂ
Okay, weirdly enough, I kinda headcanon that Tsubame doesnât like being touched? Like I think that she takes comfort in touch, but sheâs not a casual-touch kinda person. Itâs not like sheâll flip away from you if you give a highfive, but even when sheâs sharing with people sheâll be some distance away. Personal space where there isnât, kind of thing. An aftereffect of having to spend a lot of time with a sibling in a small area
I kinda headcanon that Rei will try (consciously or unconsciously) to avoid contact. Either with his body language or physically just...not. So like, hands in pockets or holding onto something if a person whoâs v touchy is around. Or being very aware of the way that other people are moving. I think itâs an after effect of both the environment he grew up in, as well as having to deal with his shortlived âfansâ crowding him. Heâd rather watch people than initiate.Â
But I also like the idea that he really really likes casual touch. Like you know how people get when cats decide to touch them? Thatâs Rei when a person heâs okay with even brushes his pinkie.Â
