First would definitely be chocolate chip cookies. The recipe on the bag of Tollhouse chocolate chips if you want to get specific. It was pretty much the one thing that my mom, sister, and I always made together when I was growing up.

Favorite genre to write - well, if you've read any of my stories this probably won't come as a surprise, but fantasy is probably my favorite genre when it comes to what I like to write. But not high fantasy (think Lord of the Rings as an example), but I guess more urban fantasy, magical realism, maybe? I love working with a modern, recognizable setting, and then finding the magic and the weird within there.
That and I'm a sucker for writing scenery porn. ;)
