Bit of 12yr Kito lore

->Kito's mental age is pretty far behind as well as their brain being jumbled up a bit in terms of social behaviors, self expression and overall communication, During the 6 years of isolation and dissociation(due to very stressful events)they ended up forgetting some of the teachings of tripitaka and the pilgrims (as listed above)

It's pretty obvious to tell why 12yr Kito ends up biting, Gentle/non aggressive bites means they're hungry, tired or just need some stimulation (if they lip smack/tail wag during these bites, that means they're showing affection and are aware how much pressure they're putting in the nom noms) along with some ear wiggles cuz cuteness

BEWARE: If their pupils dilate, ears fold down and back, growl in warning

DON'T TOUCH DA MONKEY, THEY COULD FEEL THREATENED, want alone time or are responding to disrespect from someone

If you do end up approaching so casually, They will bite and won't let go until they feel as if you had enough pain(or get called by people they respect/trust and are comfortable around)
