I see something absolutely magical in the footage of tommys recording. none of them could have known what they were doing or how the world would change. there was something in the eye contact: they understood they were doing something new and unconventional. they weren't sure how the world would react, but they continued anyway. I can feel the tension and excitement. they were SO in the process
