102 Jamz radio personalities inspire inductees into Kiser Middle mentoring program
On Thursday, November 17, client B Daht, along with his co-host on 3 Live Crew Morning Show, Drankins, addressed Kiser Middle School’s second class of inductees into Kiser Kings, a mentoring program implemented by the school.
McLaughlin served as emcee and Drankins delivered a keynote.
Both spoke to the students and attending guests about making wise decisions, what it takes to be successful, as well as encouraging the Kings to take pride in their new title and carry themselves with great confidence.
Kiser Kings is a mentoring program whose purpose is to empower and enhance the lives of young, Black males within Kiser Middle School. Their mission is to cultivate the diverse skills, talents, and leadership abilities within the young men to ensure success in school, the community, and in life.
Kiser Kings meet monthly to engage in discussions about accountability, setting and reaching goals, preparing for high school and college, as well as self-esteem building, to name a few.
Each student received a certificate and will participate in a host of upcoming academic and community service events over the next few months.
The 3 Live Crew Morning Show airs on WJMH 102 Jamz from 6-10 a.m., Monday through Friday.
