KinSNP Benchmarking for Forensic Kinship #worldresearchawards#researchawards#fosawards

This study benchmarks KinSNP®, a forensic SNP-based kinship analysis tool developed by Othram, using real pedigree data across 66 pairwise comparisons. Its performance was compared with GEDmatch PRO and the Shared cM Project 4.0 tool. KinSNP® accurately predicted 82% of relationships within the highest confidence category and 12% within the second highest, showing strong reliability for close relatives.
