TEN DAYS TILL WE SEE CAPTAIN REX AGAIN!!
So I have a sort of 'roleswap au' if you will.
Basically, Rex kinda takes Wa'nabi's place, making him the King of Systar. Rex orders Sweet Mayhem to go to Apocalypseburg and pick up Emmet (not really telling her why Emmet specifically).
When Sweet Mayhem captures Emmet's naive hind, he's whisked away to the Systar System, where Rex is waiting for him.
Rex greets him with the proposal of Emmet becoming the heir to his throne. Rex then shows Emmet everything he'll get if he accepts, a la Wa'nabi in the movie.
Meanwhile, Lucy and the others all fly to Systar to rescue Emmet and save him from the evil king's clutches. Once they arrive, however, Emmet's already accepted and made Prince of the Systar System, already reaping some of the rewards, such as cool gadgets, fancy foods, and servants.
Other notable things to mention about this AU: - Rex is still Emmet from the future, he travels back in time to overthrow Watevra and banish her to another realm. - Rex and Sweet Mayhem have a bit of an Older Brother/Little Sister type relationship. - Emmet gets a cool princely uniform and loves his new life as a prince, but sometimes he does miss his old life as normal old Emmet. - Rex almost banishes Lucy and the others from Systar, but Emmet convinces him to let them stay, 'Just as long as they don't cause any trouble'
