Personality: Independent, pragmatic survivalist, no-nonsense, stubborn, reluctant to rely on others due to mother’s (emotional & later literal) abandonment + father’s early death & full of prey animal rage. However, he’s also a very empathetic, compassionate, brave & responsible boy who grew up too fast. He does care & deep down, yearns to be cared for.

Likes: Cranberries, dango, origami, scented incense sticks, tree climbing, listening to Hana sing, grinding ink/herbs (would’ve loved ASMRs) 

Dislikes: His freckles & small stature (makes him look younger than he is), excessive waste, eye contact with animals, winter (it’s when his dad died), Hana’s suitors (waste of his time & low social battery)

Basic lore/backstory:

After his father passed away when he was young and his mother abandoned him to care for his sister alone, Kimura is no stranger to responsibility. His proficiency as a hunter kept him and Hana fed, but after saving the village’s physician, Matsu from a stanked rodent, he was taken under his wing & found his true calling as a healer. His paradoxical competence in wounding & healing bodies, firm morals and understanding of duty/sacrifice gained the attention of (First) Ninja & the Creep. Thus, he was chosen to be Norrisville’s second protector & the first of many successors to come.
