I think Markâs departure is devastating for Boyoung, but I also think we see her growth as a person.
We know that she was distraught when Jaemin was gone on hiatus. But now, we have a Boyoung with a different outlook on life. In the past she might have felt overwhelmed, like the world is ending. Sheâd close herself off to the world.
Now? Boyoung is devastated, of course, but sheâs learned coping skills to deal with the grief. She can rely on her loved ones in NCT and not shut everyone out.
Some days are darker than others, Iâd say, but Boyoung displays strength that her past self would be proud of.
These are just my thoughts akfjfksđ I could be completely wrong so donât mind me if this isnât what you envisioned. Iâm just blabbing here.

Ooh, don't worry, I don't mind you guys sharing your thoughts ^_^
I agree with you, if it was younger Boyoung, she would really be heartbroken and depressed and everything.
But the Boyoung in 2026 is a very mature and more healed version of herself, so yeah she'll be heartbroken, but she would be more understanding and supportive
There will be times she might fall back, but like you said, she has NCT to help her as they're all in the same predicament, but Mark is also there still, in contact. So he would help out if ever
I'll share more of Boyoung's reaction and thoughts in a post ^_^
