In a busy day, what’s more important? SLEEP? DIET? Or WORKING OUT?! One of the most challenging things is learning to prioritize diet, working out and sleep on such a limited schedule. Especially when you work a 0700 to 1800 shift and have to be up by 0100 for a 0200-0600 shift the next day. And yes, from 1800 to 0100 is 7 hours, but it’s not much when you have the following: 1. You weren’t planning on going to bed until 2200 so you drank some green tea 2. You still have to shower & that’s IF there happens to be hot water 3. Your equipment that is getting inspected tomorrow is 0% operational & it has to be 100% operational to pass inspection. It is a hell of a process, but trying to figure out whether sticking to your diet is more important than working out or those are more important than sleep has been the biggest hurdle for me & others in my position.
