Killing is Going to be Messy || Mission Call #3
The little boat wobbled through the nightly current as it sailed towards the coast of Trolian, light radiated a few miles inland from what all of them knew to be the city of Tuon, a smaller Trolian outfit that had become famous for where the Kings were crowned, and now was a tourist attraction. Orractous gave the reins one last swing, pushing the boat further until it hit the grey sand. The coast was mildly guarded. They had set off from one of the Fleet’s ships no more than an hour ago, the three of them settled into one of the boats, knowing they had to secure it if they ever wanted to get out of the country.Â
Orractous was the first to jump out of the boat, grabbing the rope to pull it further into the sand; water soaked into his boots, chilling him to the bone.Â
Assassinations were not the light missions, he had been on one before with Simone, but killing some civilians hardly shared in importance with their current target. He had however listened to Simone’s previous advice: he had dyed his hair brown, though the greenness of it still burned through the color, and wore a pair of jeans, and a large black shirt, hiding the short sword that was strapped to his back.Â
Now that they were safely ashore, their mission could begin. ‘Lets hide the boat,’ Orractous suggested, looking at the barren strip of land. ‘The city is no more than ten minutes out, if we walk fast.’Â
