Flug rolled his chair over to the monitor picking up the call. “Hello, Black Hat Org, help line, Dr.-” He stopped seeing the bright red hair and cocky grin greeting him. The paper bag scientist shook his head smiling setting the robot head in his lap. “What do you have now Syndrome? A cape that makes you invisible?” He joked flicking the screen up so it was displayed over his work desk.  “Or, is it a gauntlet that makes it rain acid?” He rolled back to his desk leaning on it giving the raising villain his full attention. 

           though her answer is immediate,  it is not hesitant.  “ my sister.  when we were children,  and now as adults…  she has been my best friend for forever,  and has never failed to lift me up when i’m down.  there was this one time when we were children,  and we were at dinner,  and when mama and papa weren’t looking,  she took two small strawberries, stuck them up her nose,  and then blew them back out again  –  they went clear across the table onto my plate.  she was scolded for it,  of course,  but i don’t think i’ve laughed quite as hard as i did then in a long time.  but other than that…  a well-executed pun. ”

How long had it been since Ghiris last saw Paradise. He looked less exhausted, and the burns on his hands had healed. Even the scars around his neck were fading, and he didn’t jump or startle as easily as he had once done. He hadn’t even used his powers in so long. To him, just being with Sun was his dream.
