We're planning on repeating our Kingsglaive: Legends (a week focusing on the named glaives) event this year, and possibly Kingsglaive: Lore (a weekend focusing on the Glaive as a whole and OCs) if there is interest.
But we currently don't have any direct plans to run a week focused on any one specific glaive other than Nyx. If you want to do so, please do! We'd love to have more Glaive content in general.

The Lore exit survey is here! Thanks so much for everyone who participated or plans to. We loved meeting some excellent OCs and hearing (or seeing) some wonderful theory about life among the Kingsglaive. If you still want to create content, don't worry! You can do so. We don't have a time limit. Just mention us if you do, as we probably won't be monitoring the tag at this point.
We'll post a NyxWeek23 interest check tomorrow, but we wanted to give Kingsglaive: Lore it's due as well. Please do take it, whether you created content, enjoyed it, or abstained. We'd love to get your feedback so we can continue to improve.

Maeve sat on the edge of the haven, the rock cool and damp under her as sheets of rain came pouring down on her. Thunder rumbled in the distance, the clouds reflecting purple as lightning struck down again and again. It made her wonder who had pissed off Ramuh so badly, but as long as the wrath didn’t put her in the line of fire, she didn’t really care – she was content just watching the show.
The rest of the Glaives didn’t seem to agree, which she thought was odd, considering Galahdans had always respected and celebrated storms. Maybe they had more self-preservation than she did. It was more than likely she would suffer the consequences later when she retreated back into her tent and would be stuck with wet hair and cold everything.
Maybe she could ask Crowe if she’d be up to drying her hair with a bit of fire magic. She was the only one she trusted to do it without burning her. Honestly, she was the only one Maeve trusted to do most magic related things without them ending up in some sort of disaster. Nyx was better than her at warping, though, but that was pretty much it.
”Isn’t it past your bedtime?”
Speak of the Daemon...
”Shouldn’t I be asking you that, old man?” Maeve shot back with a faint smile on her face as she leaned back on her arms, tilting her head to see Nyx sitting down gingerly next to her. If only that was because of old age and not him being a self-sacrificing idiot and throwing himself in front of a sixdamned Magitek Armor.
Maybe Ramuh was mad over Nyx’s dumbassery, too. It wouldn’t surprise her, just like it wouldn’t surprise her if not even Ramuh’s intervention was enough to get him to take better care of himself.
”How’s the leg?” Maeve asked when the silence stretched uncomfortably long.
The thunder clap in the distance sounded louder than the ones so far.
”Nothing a few days of rest won’t heal – Pelna snuck me a potion from the med tent,” Nyx told her with a one-shouldered shrug. ”How’s your head?”
Maeve’s eyes narrowed as she twisted around to get a better look at him. ”What’s that supposed to mean? I’m not the one that got hurt!”
”No, but you tend to get lost in that big brain of yours when stuff doesn’t go according to the plan,” Nyx pointed out and reached out to nudge her head with his index finger. ”And a little bird might have told me you have somehow come up with the dumb idea that you’re to blame for the incident.”
”That’s because it was my fault.” Maeve pushed his hand away and turned back to watch the lightning show. ”If I hadn’t miscalculated the warp, you wouldn’t have had to swoop in to save me.”
Nyx huffed. ”That shit happens. Besides, my knee getting twisted had nothing to do with that, it happened earlier in the fight. I just conveniently ran out of adrenaline after the MA was down.”
”You’re an idiot,” Maeve muttered.
”So? You’ve known that ever since the day I took you in,” Nyx grinned and leaned over to bonk their heads together. Maeve pouted and sent him a half-hearted glare, but then Nyx slipped an arm around her and she practically melted against her side.
”You’re insufferable.”
”Love you too, kiddo,” Nyx murmured into her hair, and she could feel tension bleeding out of him. It had been a rough day. ”And you should know by now that I’d do anything to keep you safe.”
Maeve nearly whined. ”I’m not a child anymore.”
”Neither is Libs, but you know I’d still do it for him, too,” Nyx chuckled. ”As your guardian, I just give you a bit more attention and care.”
Maeve rolled her eyes and sighed. She was an adult now – as much as the thought terrified her sometimes – but she didn’t think reminding Nyx of that would change anything ”Yeah, I guess so. Just know that it goes both ways. I’d also do anything for you, so unless you want me to take after you in lack of self-preservation, I’d suggest you slow down a little.”
Nyx barked a laugh at that. ”I’ll keep that in mind.”
