I've reached the Keyfish moment in the campaign... I must say, it is absolutely quintessential d&d that this was Keyleth's first death. Iconic. No better way to do it, I say.

Anyone else hear a song and sometimes instantly sometimes much later get "replacement" lyrics for it? Like the other day I was in a waiting room having heard Michael Jackson's "Beat It" on the radio on the way, and I must have been hit by a stray Sam Riegel brainwave 8 years late because this is what came almost fully-formed to my brain:

I don’t think they’re going to adapt the Keyfish scene in all its glory at any point (and it would be totally understandable if they didn’t) but I still think it would be SO funny to see that professionally animated. It has some of my favorite lines in the streams
Vex’s exasperated “Kiki don’t kill yourself over this rock”
Keyleth’s overconfident “We’re gods!”
Vex’s whispered “Tary I used your coin” and Tary’s subsequent “Oh. Ohh...”
Keyleth saying she wanted to be reckless and Vax in literal tears saying “that’s what alcohol is for!”
Percy saying he’s been feeling stir crazy as well and Vax turning Keyleth’s bloody face to him and saying “well let this be a lesson to you!”
