When you feel like water has sunk your ship.

When you feel like the sole survivor of the wreck.

Look around you,

Everybody is drowning too, their own weight pulling them down.

And some of us are still striving.

Kicking and flapping our tired limbs just for the hope of the next breath.

We get too busy looking for an anchor

Some invisible thread to rein us in this life

A life raft or a savior to keep us afloat

But don’t you remember you have a set of arms and legs?

Our bodies made to stay on the surface.

All you need is right there with you.

So when you get stuck or swept up by the cursing currents.

You breathe.

You swim.

With us.

I’m feeling so much better, since I decided I was going to fight for my health no matter how bad the doctors say it is! I serve a really big God! My legs were not ready for these wedges though 😂🤷🏾‍♀️
