In celebration of Employee Appreciation Day (today) and International Women’s Day (Sunday) we yanked ourselves out of our comfort zones this week by changing the salon management software we’ve used for 15 years. Hopefully everyone will get a chance to experience some of the new features such as online booking (finally through our website) and our new Dexterity Salon App (available through Apple & Android app stores). We’re getting over the hump and challenging our brains. Change is not easy but can’t think of a better group to go through it with. In my Etsy shop I have 3 sections: White Clay, Dark Brown Clay, and Speckled Clay. I love all 3 clay bodies so much and love experimenting with them using various glaze combinations. Journaling is an important part of my self care practice. It helps keep me sane and allows me to go back and reflect, see my progress, and remember. These pages that also become the home for leftover paint on my gelli plate are fun to muse into, keeping me from getting stuck in my usual patterns for relating to the page.
