✨ The Art of Being Seen ✨ Art isn’t just what we make with our hands. It’s what spills out when words run dry. It’s the ache behind a color, the pause in a brushstroke, the secret you didn’t mean to share but couldn’t hide either. Art is a mirror, but not a clean one. It’s cracked with longing, smudged by memory. It reflects you not as you are, but as you feel— and sometimes, that’s more honest than truth. Every unfinished sketch, every abandoned draft, every scribble in the margins says: "I was here. I felt this. It mattered." So keep creating, even if no one claps. Especially if no one claps. Because the act of making is the art itself.

Coming to the realization that a part of me really latched onto the belief that, in order to be an artist, I had to be sad. That only sadness and despair could provide the kind of depth of character worthy of producing artwork. It just dawned on me this afternoon that -- just maybe -- the artist could also be happy. I thought to myself, what if happiness and a state of contentment is a place from which an artist can produce great things too. Perhaps even greater things.
