Hello, my name is Cali. Some of you know me, many of you just think you know me. But what you don't realize is that I'm not an attention deprived reckless stupid teenager. I'm a young woman who has been through hell and back who has to fight every day to keep going, who struggles to get out of bed everyday. Who very personally has seen what depression, anxiety, anger/hatred can do. I myself have struggled with self harm and suicidal thought. I have struggled yet I'm still here. I know that everyone struggles, maybe not often or in the ways I have, which I hope you haven't, but my eyes have been opened to the fact that there are so many people who are struggling silently. These people aren't getting help, getting help is what keeps us sane and alive. This society is problem one of the shittiest things for people like me because people say they care, they want you to open up then judge you or make your problems seem small or not real. Or when you do ask for help or you break down you are an "attention whore" for it, he'll if you think someone is actually doing something for attention then they probably need it! So give it to them! In a healthy way.. But you damn well better know that I care. There are people that care and a lot more people who have been in this position. I can honestly say I won't judge you, I won't belittle you. I can't stand to see anyone else attempt suicide or self harming or even silently suffering.. I have seen so much of it lately. Why can't we just truly be there for each other? Why can't we respect each other and the state of others mental health. Keep the peace and spread the love is my new moto. We need to live the life we have been given to the fullest and not burrow in our shadows. I am forever grateful for the life I have been given despite the downs because I know I have so much more to offer, and so do you.
