She’s dealing with it in a way I still haven’t figured out yet.

Rosa will arrive any minute now to babysit Agnes so Mommy and Daddy can go have a fun spooky night out.

No, I don’t believe so. One of the biggest moments for Tom’s character was in the episode where Tom and Liz attempted to get remarried. After everything that went down with the Major and Gina, the temptation had to be huge for him to bury the evidence. Liz had serious reservations, both about marrying him again and keeping the baby. She could have easily taken what happened as a sign that he’d never be able to be a good husband or father. It could have caused a “shed of doubt” which was the reason she gave him season 1 for pulling out of the adoption at the last minute. Telling the truth could have cost him everything, and yet that was what he did. He has learned his lesson about hiding the truth from his wife. Now they discuss things, like his reluctance to throw away the passports, Kirk, his family drama, etc. A short term backslide, like in 4x04 to pursue Agnes without Liz’s agreement is one thing, but for him to have a secret long term employer is another. I believe it would fly in the face of everything we’ve learned about this man.

This scene was perfect, domestic, adorable Keen3. Tom and Liz are in such a routine with their little girl now, toys on the floor, coffee, running late to work, but getting it all done. It was such a great parallel to the premiere of The Blacklist, which is fitting, but only with a baby. I love them discussing their schedule to get Agnes to the doctor, and Liz is so determined he take the interview and they can make it work. Then right after, so supportive in him going to figure out the business with his father. They’re all smiles with their baby girl and working like a family with obstacles and roadblocks, both mundane and otherwise.
