I am really grateful to you and your team for bringing Mystic Messenger to us, you have no idea how much comfort the RFA members have brought to me. I am someone who is obese and I get teased for that for practically my entire life so that phone call from Zen(who is suppose to be the one that is somewhat fanatic about one’s health) to say that “you are you and you should love yourself even if you are overweight because how dare you dislike the body that he loves so much”. That really meant alot to me.

Also I really wanted to appreciate the fact that Cheritz is so responsive to our feedbacks like V’s route, I know that the fandom was low-key salting over the fact that we couldn’t save V and etc and how some of us actually demanded for a V’s route. I mean you could have chosen to ignore us and just carry on but noooo, not only was our opinions heard but the fact your group decided to release a V’s route really means alot to us. That our opinions mattered, that we weren’t just given a typical copy-and-paste answer.

You guys are constantly coming up with new DLCs or events to keep us entertained and it really showed us how much effort is being placed. Like the April’s Fool Day DLC and also Christmas DLC, it really makes us feel spoiled and pampered.

“I first heard of MDZS over a year ago when a friend of mine was aggressively promoting the novel but because she was too aggressive and literally forcing me to read the novel, I got really turned off and procrastinated on reading (If I could, I would slap myself for taking so long to finally read the novel.) Well fast forward to later on this year when the animation started, I decided to give it a go because one of my fav chinese CV was involved in the animation but still I was kindof skeptical if I will enjoy it because of the description it had on kissanime. I instantly had the image of those typical chinese dramas about war and politics XDD But boy oh boy, I was blown away by the graphics and songs and omg everything was just amazing.

I might get killed for this and I think this can be considered as spoilers for people who have only watched the anime but I really dislike Jiang Chang. Most people I see sympathized with him and don’t get me wrong, but I do feel sad for him but his actions… to me, it just seem kindof bratty and childish.

Like yes, I get it that you lost your family overnight. All of your precious people and your home is gone. But please remember, those were also precious people to WWX. That place was also home to WWX. He lost his precious people and home too.

You know whats worst than losing something precious?

Its treasuring them and then losing them. Can you imagine the pain? Within a week, he lost his home, his beloved people and his freaking golden core. And after that he gets thrown into a hellpit. And despite being one of the main forces later on in overcoming the Wen Clan, because he was in a sense, too powerful that people started to fear him and managed to destroy his reputation and took away everything from him. But never once did WWX tried to push the blame on anyone else. He just accepted it and tried to move on.”

I didn’t want to read the novel at all back then bc I thought it was literally going to be the same as the donghua and I got bored of the flashback and was more interested in the present and when I finally caved in and found out it was well-paced I also felt like slapping myself And lmao at your friend story I can only thank the universe my friends are used to my pushing that they still picked up the novel hahaha And woooow thank you for stating what seems to be a VERY unpopular opinion at least here in Tumblr MY YUNMENGJIANG DUO ;________; I think that WWX held a special place in my heart precisely of whaat you said about him never pushing the blame to anyone and just accepting whatever it was that the universe threw at him. And tbh it’s great that you have a different opinion regarding JC because it just shows that the author made our characters really human meaning that we, as readers, end up having our own perceptions of them. <3 also psa to those who don’t agree: GUYS PLEASE DON’T BOMBARD HER OKAY??? this is HER story and not yours <3
