“Warm Up” 2024
-found fabrics
first attempt at kawandi style quilting. I learned a lot in the process 🏺
Doing some stupid crafting for my stupid mental health.
My current fiddle craft is making kawandi style blocks; quilt as you go, traditionally made from sari scraps but I'm using my general stash pile to do it, and I've adapted the method to work for what I need. I'm going to make a load, and then stitch them together to make a quilt. It's easy and will fit easily in a bag, and is super easy to pick up and then yeet to one side when someone asks you a question in a meeting and you need to look attentive.
