I ship Pynch as well. And for lots of emotional turmoil, I moonlight shipping Roah because I can't help it.

However! I agree with you. K and Proko will always be my endgame for K. I understand the angst and interest Rovinsky shippers have for Ronan and K, but to me it's a fleeting thing, bred from jealousy, lust, obsession resentment even? Idk. It's like a quick combustible reaction, that's over as quick as it began.

Proko and K, to me, have that long lasting potential. Fandom really did give Proko a backstory, personality and molded him similarly to the rest of the pack to where he really fits in. I love the stories where Proko isn't always a dream thing, but an equal. A good give and take from the both of them. Where they're equally shit, perhaps to others and each other. but in a way that's wanted and in a way they get off on. Does that make sense? Like give me those trouble making, shit talking, generally substance abusing (THOUGH LOVE WHEN IVE READ THEM CLEANED UP DOWN THE LINE) selves.

I feel like they've just been a part of the others life more than not. Like they understand one another on a level no one else can, or will. I feel like they hold each others secrets and understand the movements and choices of the other, as if it was their own decision & reasoning. They just are and I love them and their dynamics. When there are moments when K is flipped around to be the more vulnerable or submissive one to Proko. When Proko has that emotional, physical, you name it, kind of leverage over K. I don't know why, but I love it so much. Maybe knowing someone knowing and being there for K, in a life of past uncertainties and failures and unwantedness from others? Like someone wanting and actively choosing him and knowing how to play at his own game and how to break the rules in just the right way, a way K loves and feels challenged but it's all mutually understood and just good for them both.

Unpopular opinion or not, I'm right there with you. Shall we start an unpopular lunch table? I think there might be too many people that will want to sit with us, if I'm being honest.
