Synopsis: 'Love' and 'Separation'. This is the story of the nearly impossible love between two people. Various disasters have plunged Kath deep into the ocean, and Lin has encountered solar storms in outer space that make it difficult for her to survive. These events lead them to meet again in parallel worlds.

However, their reunion doesn't bring Kath and Lin happiness, as the obstacles they encounter in each world force them apart again and again, causing constant ongoing pain.

Best angst moment a):

The way she cradles Sasa, her only source of comfort...? On the worst day of her life after Anil has seemingly left her for another woman and she's going to marry a man she despises while her friend is telling her to smile? Only Sasa can comfort her now; of course Pin will cling to the small connection she has left to the love of her life as hard as she can. Breaks my heart every time.
