Above, from left is Karlien, Raphaela, and Eva, and next to them is their cousin Caroline! She's my mom's new Kidz N Cats doll. She's got Raphaela's face mold, but has blue eyes and black hair.

My mom and I meet up for camping pretty often, but she usually just brings Barbies. I'm really glad she finally found a Kidz N Cats doll she likes.

Raphaela has been camping tons of times this summer, so she was excited for another chance to join her sisters and her cousin on adventures both big..........

...... and small!

18 inch Kidz N Cats dolls have multiple points of articulation, so it's fun to pose them doing wacky stuff.

We had a lot of relaxing quiet time at our campsite.

I brought some toys to keep the girls happy.

I'm glad we brought horses.

Eva helped cook dinner every night.

Eventually they got bored of everything, so I started to improvise! I made some Jenga blocks from the pieces of kindling I had cut for our campfire.

For Eva, I cut out a mini magazine from a full-sized issue of Better Homes and Gardens that I got at a nearby thrift store.

For Caroline, I cut some of the magazine's ads into irregular shapes and made her some jigsaw puzzles.

Happy Dolloween! The triplets are dressed up for the festivities, and have come to the pumpkin patch in search of candy. Eva (left) is a medieval princess, Karlien (right) is her rival the powerful Snow Queen, and Raphaela is a cowgirl trick rider (someone told her it's nearly impossible for a cowgirl to ride a horse in a short skirt).

According to Karlien and Eva, the peaceful and beautiful princess just wants to peacefully rule her kingdom and wear pretty dresses. But the Snow Queen wants her throne and will do anything to steal it from her, including covering the kingdom in snow and ice. The trick rider is just passing through on a world tour.

Raphaela wrapped up her road trip vacation meeting up with my mother and some of her dolls at one of our favorite campgrounds. Raphaela made pancake breakfasts for her new friend Rachelle, and the Ruby Red Fashion Friends, Sara and Maya.

We had first gone by my house to pick up Raphaela's sisters, Eva and Karlien, so they could join us.

My three Kidz N Cats dolls are triplets. The other two didn't want to come with us to Colorado and Utah, so they stayed home until the last leg of the trip. Then we spent Memorial Day weekend at my parents' house.

There's always a lot to do at their house.

The big highlight was the backyard pool.

They're beginning swimmers, so my mom was in there to help them.

And after I drained pool water from their limbs and joints, they got cozy in jammies to watch a movie on our last night there.

None of us were feeling ready to head home. We had such a fun time that it was hard to go back to regular life. But I promised my dolls there will be plenty more adventures this summer. And summer hasn't even really begun yet.
