As you can see, Karl!Robert is starting in a matter of days. From the entries I’m seeing for these first few episodes, not only did Robert get a head transplant but a personality transplant as well in a matter of a few weeks off-screen. Seems like now that Scott was neutered, they needed a replacement and Robert was the chosen one.
Seen Karl’s version in just a handful of scenes (that’s on purpose) but to go from the good, scholarly kid to this new version in such a short time is going to be jarring to say the least. While here for the long haul, just gonna say upfront I’m biased toward Christopher!Robert because we’ve seen him literally grow up and gradually be brushed aside for the tearaway (and selfish bully at times) over time not knowing what place in his family he belongs. Now this new producer is flipping the dynamic to the limit making Andy the favored cherished son by not only Jack but Diane as well. it’s gonna be interesting that’s for sure.
