susan pevensie! she and her three siblings stumbled through a wardrobe into a magic world called narnia, then after they saved the day (ten or so years after living in that world as royalty) they were sent home to live as children again. then again in a year or so as they (mostly susan) we’re finally getting used to normal life again they were brought back to save the day. again. and understandably susan was upset. in the next few books only the two younger kids get to go, then their friends, then in the last book they all die in a train crash and go to Narnia. except susan. she’s left alone in the real world after refusing to talk to her siblings about Narnia because it was too hard for her to remember the life that she loved that was taken away from her twice c s lewis (the author) has this famous line where he says she’s ‘no longer a friend of narnia’ and is not obsessed with ‘lipstick and nylons’. which is stockings i assume? anyway a lot of people see that as lewis condemning her embracing her femininity, especially since the whole series is very much inspired by christianity (in the first book Aslan, kind of the god of the world who looks like a lion, dies ceremonially to save his people or whatever)anyway she’s left alone, her three siblings and four friends having died in the train crash and gone to ‘heaven’ without her. look up ‘the problem of susan’ on my blog and you’ll see a really gorgeous gif set that sums up her feelings really well

hmm this is a good question. if you have hulu, the whole first two seasons are on there. i know hulu is a little pricey though and a lot of people don’t have it, the other option is the freeform website. it’s not requiring sign in to watch the whole series right now (probably bc s3 is about to premiere in like a week), and they should put up the new episodes the day after they air, i think.
