At the Kariega Game reserve I was able to see at least 4 of the Big Five. In case you don’t know, the term “Big Five” is short for “Big Five Game” and refers to the five most difficult animals in Africa to hunt on foot, but they are also loved by tourists to see and photograph. They are the lion, leopard, rhino, Cape buffalo, and the Elephant. It was amazing to see all these African animals at wild, they were everywhere. Saw some giraffes, zebras, impalas, buffalos, ostriches, rhinos, elephants, and even lions, although these were just having a nap hiding under the bushes, nothing too impressive. It was a great experience, although for an even greater experience is recommended to stay at least for a week, and to try different reserves.
