The baby, when it cries - If it’d be 1/8 medusa, I guess Mary would take better care of it

The ice cream cone, when they share - Mary, she usually eats the majority of it

The remote, when they sit down to watch a movie - Kano. The trust that Mary put in him that he won’t pick up a scary movie again is actually adorable

The basket, when they go shopping - They don’t get basket. They get shopping cart and ride around with it

The door, on dates - Kano (can you imagine how many times he accidentally caught her hair by the door?)

The other’s hand, most often - Mary

Their breath, upon seeing the other on their wedding day - Kano, upon seeing his bride he gots completely frozen *nudge nudge*

- Ok so this one I call Little Mermaid Headcanon: since Mary lived most of her life in isolation, she doesn’t know much about the world, much less the modern world. I’m pretty sure that Kano would on purpose give Mary some false informations just to mess with her (maybe he wouldn’t tell her that fork is a comb, but you get the idea).

- But then Mary likes to “prank” Kano as a form of revenge too, though it’s always uhhh lame. Very lame.

-for example: “Hey Kano, do you want some green tea?” “Yeah, sure” *he takes a sip* “HA! It’s just black tea! >:3″

- sometimes she even plan her “pranks” through for whole days or so and then share her plans (too) proudly with Kido and Seto

- but because of the way they are, sometimes it’s really hard to tell that she just did one and when it happens Kido and Seto give Kano some non-verbal signs so he can know that yup, he just got “pranked”

- and Kano then plays along to make Mary feel better and pretends that it really got to him and acts like a true drama queen (like in the example from above: “AAAGH, you know I prefer green! All my expectations and excitement gone into the ashes! NOOOO”

- Mary is Ultimate KnKd Shipper Queen™ (ok, that one is actually canon, but I still had to include it)

- but unlike Seto she doesn’t realize they don’t realize they like each other, so she can sometimes unintentionally give Kano away

- like when Kano tries to say something “jokingly” to “make fun of Kido” like “Ooh, is that a new scented shampoo?~ How girly! Have to say like this one, hehe.” “He really does! He’s been talking about it for fifteen minutes!”

- but then on the other hand Kano is the biggest setomary shipper

- Them being ultimate wingmen together is often problematic: “We’ve got a cupoun for two tickets for [a romantic movie or something idk]. Well, I think we all know who they should go to.” Kano and Mary look knowingly and then say simultaneously: “Seto and Mary/Kido and Kano” *both look at each other with the most deadly “I’M TRYING TO HELP YOU HERE” look*

- They are Book Buddies! One of my favorite headcanons is that Kano likes to read a lot, so I’m pretty sure that they would bond over it, even though they like different genres. - Kano bought Mary ones BL as a joke, but she started to LIKE it

- oh how he regretted it

- because naturally she thought he likes bl too since he was the one that introduced it to her

- (“So would you call yourself a seme or uke? You’re an uke, obviously. But how do you see yourself?”)

- in a way she was the one that took his innocence away ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

- Kano likes to make fun of how few flowers Mary sells and to be fair he kinda have the right to because he buys most of them (he also encourages Kido and Seto to buying them- well, mostly Kido, Seto doesn’t really need it). They have seperate personal budgets from household one, so in a way it’s still a gain. In Kido words “Every amount of money that Kano doesn’t spend on useless stuff is an income.”

-the first time Mary used her powers was accidentally on Kano when he made her mad and she seriously freaked out because then she thought that the effect of her powers is pernament

- When Mary moved in they all had to adjust to Mary’s sleeping hours because she goes to bed super early and needs quiet. Of course the biggest problem with it had Kano and they would often fight about it.

- Before she met Kano and Kido, Seto would talk about how nice they are, but Mary really never had a good encounter with people beside Seto, so her idea of “nice person” came mostly from books (and how her mother acted). When she finally met Kido and Kano, internally she was like, “I think we have a different definition of ‘nice’” (and yes, it was mostly because of Kano)

- I just like to think about this scene in their version. Admittedly the exact same scenario would be ooc for Mary, but I just live for Kano giving her an awkward, sibling-like forehead kiss.
