I once read a comic on Kano using his Eyes to pretend to be a girl and room mate with Momo the idol in an AU. Found out he’s a guy, Kano teasingly threaten her on their little secret after they shared a kiss.

Continuing with Kano Month, I present to you headcanons about two best blonds~

-Momo is probably the only person beside Kido that treats the whole gang thing actually seriously and to Kano it’s both very funny and adorable~

-She also treats seriously the fact that he has higher rank/is practically second in command. It may not be shown often, but she actually respects him as that and values his advices.

- (kinda similar to my kanomary headcanon, I admit) Kano to mess with her sometimes comes up with fake gang rules/traditions (and she totally falls for it)

- At the beginning he was pretty cautious about her which really just came from the fact that she was the first new member since Mary and he was worried if it’s a good change for the rest. But once she proved herself Kano became dedicated to make her stay in Dan the best experience and she was added to the list of people Kano would die for.

- One of the things I find interesting in their dynamic is that they are both very cheerful persons!… At least that’s what it seems like, but we know that most of the time it’s just Kano’s mask. I imagine that he really admires Momo’s genuine cheerfulness and positive attitude. I imagine that it also must be pretty… relieving for him to have some like her in the Dan as she naturally does what he he always tries to do- lighten up everyone’s mood.

- (it’s the kind of scenario where they got out of Daze together with Kenjirou or something) After Momo heard that Kano was going to school disguised as Ayano… she started to beg him to do the same for her (for far less heroic reasons, she just wants to pass the damn class). Kano eventually gave in, albeit reluctantly. (But in the end Kenjirou managed to see through his deceive anyway… though he didn’t say anything untill the end of class, he just casually asked him to tell Kido and Seto that he will be home later cuz he has some work to do :P Kano under his breathe: “Where did I made mistake?” “You just can’t fool father’s instinct. Also Momo calls skeleton “unfleshed human”.)

- out of the Dan members Kano is the most often the victim of Momo’s cooking, because he is as bad in saying ‘no’ to people as she is in cooking

-IT’S SO THEMATICALLY SPICY like it’s about the masks they wear, the people they present as to others, and how severely it’s been embedded into them and how it effects them and trying to break free from that!!

-Any dynamic that’s along the lines of “Edgy guy who thinks he’s hot shit/plucky girl who sees right through him” is always gold

-Actually this ship gives me vibes of the “couple who constantly snark at each other” trope that’s in… okay most romcoms these days that is usually done badly but I actually really like it when it’s done well, and I think this would be one of those times. So much sass..

-Really I’m a just sucker for any unlikely-at-first-glance/odd couple pairings in general
