Have you considered that maybe I, honestly and truly, do not want a billion dollars?

That my critiques of the global economic systems that allow for Billionaires to exist is NOT born out of jealousy, but simply because of a nuanced set of world views and values? 

Favorite Male Character: Ed.

Favorite Female Character: Winry.

Least Favorite Character: Probably some minor antagonist whose name escapes me. 

Favorite Ship: Roy & Riza.

Favorite Friendship: Do the Elric brothers themselves count?

Favorite Quote: Winry & Ed’s take on equivalent exchange in the Manga/Brotherhood.

Worst Character Death (if any): Say what you want about the 2003 anime, but I loved Kid Wrath and seeing him go in the CoS movie hit me pretty hard.

Saddest Moment: Figuring out that no matter which series the boys are never gonna get their mom back.

A week of intensive training saw the small team of new recruits go from basics to frontline prep. Now ready to tackle call-outs and investigations. In-between usual training, they were now also allotted guard duties and shifts with the rest of the grounds soldiers at Hellsing. It seemed more like a full-time job now, more stable in their routines. Having proved themselves, their positions in the organisation now secure. 

Early one evening, a back-up team had been called out to investigate a suspected target, including a few of the newer recruits. Seras and Pip leading them. As far as they’d been notified, local police had been called to multiple suspicious homicide attacks. The victims left with a large knife wound to the throat, and all blood drained. The police had narrowed down the suspects’ stakeout at a disused hotel in the quieter end of Soho. The case being passed on to Hellsing, from that point on...

It had been a couple of years since Hellsing took new recruits on, their last soldiers now high in their ranks and well trained to complete duties of their successors. Even train new recruits, if they were required to do so. Though, this was usually overseen in the last twenty or so years, by Seras Victoria herself. And today, that was just the case.

The soldiers had arrived late yesterday evening, getting their quarters to unpack and gain a full nights rest before their first day of training, the following morning.

Stepping out into the dim dawn light, the young woman wearing a pair of black boots, camo cargos and a black t-shirt baring Hellsing’s Crest walked over to the group of soliders. 

At this point, they were mixed with the regular lot who’d been here a number of years. They knew the drill. The work-out equipment already out beside the groups, she was glad to see. And though they may have been in the midst of banter with their comrades, at merely sensing her presence they lined up. Respectful and waiting for orders..

Seras could tell the newcomers from her usual boys right away. About ten or so of them just looking around and gradually doing as the others did. Lining up with befuddled looks on their faces. 

“Good mornin’, for those of you who don’t know me - I am Miss Victoria. I oversee much of your training here as grounds soldiers; everything from push-ups to weapons training..” for a moment she paused, her eyes flashing a crimson momentarily as she looked towards the newcomers. 

“..and how to ensure the dead, stay dead.”

The usual boys chuckled to themselves, quite enjoying her pep talk. Though they soon quietened in respect for her to continue.
