Thinking about the various DMBJ dramas/movies and the varying casts and came to some conclusions.
My fave Wu Xie is the one I am presently watching.

On the one hand, having an active imagination means your brain considers a fictional blorbo and immediately makes up elaborate and dramatic Situations to put them in.
On the other hand, having an active imagination means your brain considers a random upcoming real life event and immediately makes up elaborate and dramatic and entirely unlikely Situations you’ll end up in.
So far so much of Whispers of Fate is ticking all the boxes, my only complaint is I want the whole show in one hit so I can marathon like the greedy little bitch I am. The cast, aesthetics and storyline so far, aaaaa omg I am foaming at the mouth and gnawing on the walls
Once again I rewatched Mysterious Lotus Casebook and once again ep40 massively hit me in the feels (and then the special episode came back for more lmao)
Aaa, favourite drama my beloved
Finished The Vendetta of An and aaaaa there were things I pretty much guessed would happen (this is a Cheng Yi drama after all...) but the plot twists really got me! There were a couple of episodes that dragged a bit imo, though thinking back I couldn't say exactly which ones, just that my attention slipped a few times.
That last episode though. Wow. Bumped the entire drama up to a whole 9/10 for me.
After watching this one I'm really wanting to see Zhou Qi play some darker, morally grey (or entirely morally corrupt) characters. Other than this drama I've only seen him in White Cat Legend in which his character is the complete opposite of morally corrupt lmao

AAAAAAA I HAVE ZHOU SHEN TICKETS FOR LONDON
There's so many posts about ways to comment on fic, pleading with people to comment on fic, and reassuring people that it's OK to comment on fic even if it's a super old one, but I never see much about why people don't comment so...
Why do you choose NOT to comment on a fic?
I don't know what to say
I don't want to annoy the author
I don't know the author
It's an old fic
Fic is in my second language & I can't express myself in that language*
I don't want other people to see my comment
I don't think authors deserve comments
I don't want to spend time writing a comment
I just forget
I didn't enjoy the fic/Won't comment if I have nothing nice to say
I have nothing to say that other commenters haven't already said
Something else/more than one of these/nuance
*aka the "I'm not comfortable commenting on a [language] fic in [other language]" option
(it's totally fine to do that btw)
