Kai and Isabella are one of my favorite Ana Huang couples. Their relationship is healthy and steamy. Even with the problems that come forward within their own families, nothing will keep them apart. Watching their romance grow, even though there wasn't much of a buildup, was my favorite part. Why? Because the growth didn't end when their relationship started. They continuously fought for each other and for themselves. Kai and Isa believed in each other and Kai stood his ground when Isa didn't believe in herself.
With the other books that I have read in this series and in the Twisted series, I felt that once the book ended so did the stories. But, I want more of Kai and Isabella and hope that their relationship is touched on in her other books.
Which leads me to this, I am becoming more of a fan of standalones that tie into each other as you read through the series.
