Poor Kairon underestimated the wrong halfling~
Kairon belongs to @7fredofinsanity! He was such a joy to draw, thank you for letting me doodle him! π
oh?π
arts of my main three :D i know i posted Kai, but i wanted to put them all together -w-
My favourite story to explain how powerful Artemis is (and in turn all of the Olympians) is in the Labours of Heracles.
Heracles is no pushover, he's the main reason powerful monsters don't roam around the world anymore, he killed most of them.
One notable being the hydra who's venom is so potent it can bring ruin to a immortal such as when Kairon was struck by the arrow driving him to madness before Zeus turned him into a constellation out of mercy.
He also once committed grand theft auto against the sun by lassoing the chariot and intimidating Helios into giving him his boat. Helios isn't a pushover either.
Anyhow, in one of his trials he has to steal from Artemis and when he comes face to face with her, he doesn't fight instead begs; he doesn't even attempt to best her in combat.
If he did, I don't even think it would be funny how quickly Artemis would turn him into a fountain, lamb, woman, or tree (all things she's canonically done).
If you want to know what happens when you anger Artemis, read Callisto's story (note Callisto is also a god herself and not just a random mortal).
@nameaprice and Kairon also wanted in
(Kairon is another PC from my campaign, you can often hear about him on @undyingmedium's blog)

Doodle dump from my best boys! β€οΈ Since it's also pride month, enjoy my tiefling, Kairon, in his recently found romance with Hare, the aasimar, an NPC of my master @fuyunii_ after YEARS of campaign trying to bring these two together! π€£β€οΈ But I love them SO much!!
"I always believed you would look great with a sword in hand." The blacksmith was sitting without his armor, only in his forging attire, a half-lit cigar in his fingers as he looked at Anika with both curiosity and expectation.
"I heard you carved your way out of a difficult situation...literally. Bet it was quite the spectacle."
"Depends on the point of view, especially when you associate fury and panic to it," Anika huffed the smoke in one go as she leaned back with the head into the pillows behind her back, eyes closed. She allowed herself a few more moments of silence before continuing, letting the opium sink in, trying to tackle her everlasting headache of the past few days. Lingering on the memories.
"I didn't plan on getting attached to anyone else beyond my trusted ones after what happened with you lot... and yet, here we are. That little baby bastard got us in trouble with a fake hero who can't wait to send us all to the pyre - if we're lucky. But is he really to blame for snapping at the accomplice who doomed some parts of him, some former souls with a life of their own?"
"I can't get mad at him. Not quite," she mused on, eyes finally locking again with the blacksmith's. "But it got us in antimagic chains. Surrounded by guards and enemies. If the fey didn't cause the distraction that got me to snatch Razash from one of our captors, who knows if I could have come here to tell the tale at all?"
"I won't let myself die before I see my father open my eyes again. I won't let a single one in my way, not even innocents, and the demon seems to not dislike my thinking. I never killed people so fast, and never before the whole of my group ganged on me to get a weapon out of my hands."
"So, was it a spectacle after all? I thought you were a little more sensitive than that, Ferenir."
