The woman swirled the contents of her own tankard, eyes narrowing slightly at his words.

While their experiences differed, she could still see the truth to his statement. Whether that was because her perception had begun to shift ... or things were actually changing...she wasn't sure, but she had noted things as of late had begun to sour.

'At least you are willing to make a change...many wouldn't' She finished the last dregs of the drink before resting it in her lap, letting her eyes close. 'Perhaps your actions would spurn others to act? You know as well as I that word travels....if others caught wind of your deeds, then who knows what could happen?' She offered a small smile to the other, even if it faltered. Perhaps it was an overly optimistic take, but word could travel quickly. How else could adventurers gain their reputations?
