When they were younger, Nya and Kae looked almost the same that the villagers could never tell them apart. So, Kae dyed her hair to differentiate them. But they had basically the same hairstyle and body.
But then Kae was like "oh wait, I'm a guy" and transitioned. However, he still dyes his hair, because before, Nya would help Kae dye her hair, and Kai wanted to continue that.
Currently, Kai and Nya are still built almost the same, it's just that Kai has a little bit of a flatter chest, his shoulders are a little wider, and is just a smidge taller. Nya usually wears platforms to make herself taller, because they know Kai was born an hour earlier and he always clowns her for being born later.
