Distant Future: #distant future au #df au

Summary: 1500 years since the Monkey King's petrification, the Monkie Kid thought he had lost everything and has locked himself in the depths of FlowerFruit Mountain. First things first, as many people have already figured from the lego sets released in june, our group will most likely go back to the Never Realm

The reason why I think they're going is how we see later in the trailer how the weapon of desolation exploded from INSIDE the bounty. I think they are going to the Never Realm to find a place they can seal it for good so that nobody gets their hands on it again.

But I think something is gonna go wrong (as we also see the land bounty going crazy) and the weapon will be lost

Only to be found later by Zilvar

I don't think Zilvar has any "bad intentions" per say, he looks like he doesn't even know what the weapon is. Pretty sure it's gonna be the thing Dr. LaRow mentioned about when Beatrix was using the weapon: it's gonna take control of him.

We see him eyes match the weapon's and he's clearly practicing. Again, I don't think he might be a bad guy, but more so, a victim of the weapon.

We also see our new ninja group dealing with Imperium tech around the city side. I think that while the og ninja are gonna go deal with the weapon, our new ninja will stay to protect Ninjago while they're gone (as also a probable test to see if they can handle themselves now that they are officially a team of 6 since Euphrasia had joined them)

I imagine these are gonna be the more 'funny", weird moments to balance the seriousness of the weapon situation but I also see it turning serious and later on matching with what the og ninjas are doing.

I think the reason why they are attacked by Imperium tech is that Beatrix somehow escaped and is trying to get the weapon back from the ninja, not knowing the weapon isn't anywhere near close Ninjago.

This is an interesting scene as 1:who are these feather people??? and 2: what in the Rogue are you doing Nya??

Otherwise, just cool ninjas being ninjas

SPEAKING of Rogue, THIS SCENE:

WE ARE GETTING THE BACKSTORY OF HOW JAY LOST HIS MEMORIES HAHAAA I WON!!!!

Something that I have come to realise and theories about is that:

Jay is currently regaining his memories one by one

He is not regaining them all at once, but in some wonky order, MEANING

At some point, he is gonna remember how he lost his memories.

People who follow me know I was disappointed with the way they handled Jay's remembering arc but I am glad to learn we are not done with it yet cuz yeah

Why did Jay lose his memories??

This scene is pretty obviously that, I think we are seeing it through Jay's remembering of the moment. He is wearing his gi from before the merge, so.

We also see other people captured there which means Jay MAY NOT BE the only one who got his memories erased.

I imagine that creature thing is either a worker for the administrator or the administrator themselves, as that is currently a dr mystery.

I think after the merge, as people ended up scattered around the merged lands, the people who ended up in the land of madness were taken by the administration, had their memories erased, and were tricked by other people who worked there that they've worked there all their lives.

Why? My theory is that maybe the administrator wants to make the administration sort of the new government of the merged lands, as we see the administration can travel between realms and knows when shit is happening there.

You guys knew this was coming:

They got the combinable vehicles and they shall get more moments together WOOOO!!!!

I don't care what anybody thinks, I will take every crumb, they are not canon (lostshipoing stands) but to me they are lovers who just never got to confess and therefore never got together but are still being gay as hell.

My silly little lava obsessed heart is imagining Cole and Kai getting a lot of special sweet and wholesome moments together as they fight and drive their vehicles around with the bounty.

Other thoughts and theories:

I think that this adventure to the Never Realm is gonna include all 6 og ninjas. I imagine this adventure will be the "reminiscing" trip.

It's gonna be all 6 of them, in the Never Realm, in the land bounty (this is basically s11 all over again), and so I think this adventure is gonna be one of those "Remember when it was just the 6 of us going out on adventures? Just like old times?"

The ninja are getting older, they are starting to find other things to do outside of their ninja job, as the new ninja are currently being trained and slowly becoming the new protectors of ninjago.

Just like Doc said "Dragons Rising is a story, Ninjago is a universe". Over time, we are gonna slowly lose some of the old ninja and dive into the new if lego continues the ninjago legacy. We also have duskfall that will show us an even further future, basically lego probably exploring what future ninjago content might be like.

Despite my dissapointment with Jay's remembering arc, I really hope it's not actually damaged that badly for good.

I want Jay to not be the same person he was before his amnesia, even if his memories are back.

Yes he's still Jay deep down, memories or no memories, but he was still damaged after the amnesia.

He's spent years not remembering his life, always feeling like something's missing, people taking advantage of his amnesia again and again, until he went solo. His goodness was also shattered.

His memories are back and he's remembering who he once was, but that doesn't mean that erases who he is now.

Jay will NEVER be the same person as he was before, that is gonna be something both him and the ninjas are gonna have to come to terms with.

Important question here:

Where's Arin.

We see everybody in the teaser except him. And it can mean two things:

He's just not in the clips they chose for the teaser OR

He's off doing something else.

I am on edge ever since Doc answered to that question with "This question assumes Arin will survive dragons rising" and calling it optimistic 🥹😭. So needless to say, I am scared for Arin and that line is gonna haunt me until the show ends.

And to end it all (and to thank you for reading) i give you:

As much as my brain is very Key dominant with all the theories about his tama, his whole thing with him joining the dragons and his mom and so on

I am interested to see what are they gonna do with Ssyelle

Specifically in the knights aspect

It's clear Ssyelle has the strongest connection with the knights banner as a whole. She lit up the banner, she is the captain, she revived it.

The knights banner however seems to also be considered "dangerous", Mara wanting to put a stop to it no matter what it takes.

I feel like Ssyelle is gonna have to face whatever dangerous thing the banner brings and find a way to break that curse.

Why?

Because she is the leader

And as Goyan Sanga once said:

"A captain's burden is a heavy one"

It's not that I think Ssyelle is gonna have to face the consequences of the banner alone, in fact, I think something Ssyelle does as a leader of the knights will bring everybody together in a way that will bring the knights curse to the end.

The Sunspear family has been known to always play for the bards, Falco being seen as a dissapointment and a "shame" to the family because he didn't follow that line.

Why did he do that???

Did he do it to simply rebel?? Because he wanted something new?

Did he do it for a more personal thing?? Like maybe he was a big fan of the roses before he came to Kal Asterock?

Did he do it to simply play for a team that at least didn't lose every championship for the last 20 years??

I imagine he was definitely put under a lot of training to be so good at the fucking trials. Did Surya set him up for the bards and therefore put him under a lot of hard training to maybe be the generation that was gonna finally give the bards a win? Falco must have been put under a lot of pressure by Surya and him joining the roses is maybe his revenge??

I would love to see that explored!!

Also, another thing about Falco

We see him spending a lot of time at the gym, specifically in the wee hours of the night/very early morning, there for also all of Key's dragon outbursts and possibly training.

Him hanging out at the gym at those hours could be for simple practice, insomnia or him wanting to let out his anger over Surya by training in a place always meant to withstand any... accidents.

But what catches my attention is how he's there while Key was learning to control his tama.

When Key had his dragon outbursts, he was there to mock it. When Key was set up to the final test, he stayed.

When Key created his signature move, he was amazed and proud.

Did Falco see himself in Key while training with Sugoi maybe like how he was trained by Surya?

The first time Key had his outbursts at the gym, we can say Falco was there by coincidence. But the night after, despite seeing the danger Key is, he still went there.

After each dragon outburst Falco came closer to Key's room only to be met with Sugoi, and that's when he will throw his mocking remark.

I think Falco may have tried to reach Key in the only times he knew nobody would be there to see him, only to be taken out twice by Sugoi.

Why?

Because he relates to Key's generational/family issues.

I think Key and Falco could really bond over the fact they were probably both trained to follow a certain legacy, to be like their mother/uncle. Key was set up to join the dragons but he joined the knights, just like how Falco was set up for the bards but he joined the roses.

And I have another bonding moment to add to the list.

I said in my first theory post that I think Falco will join the knights. While I still consider it a possibility, I think he might also remain with the roses BUT!

Become closer friends with Key.

Falco's tama has currently been taken away with no explanation. I don't think he is gonna be kicked out from Kal Asterock because he DID have a tama, but it got taken (plus I feel like the adults need to be held responsible for that and therefore have to find a solution). I definitely think he will be suspended from playing with the roses because he is without a tama and therefore would be a weak target on the field.

Key right now is also most definitely suspended after the accident in ep11. Shots from the mv suggest that.

I think this could be a great chance for them to also bond over their tama issues.

Falco is currently without a tama, one of the main things that made him a star player for the roses.

Key had grown without even knowing he had a tama, barely controlling it, and now scared to summon it because of the people he might hurt next.

They could really bond over having similar tama issues and family ones.

I imagine a scene where they both sit on the bench to maybe watch the game we see the knights play in that snowy weather. They could both put up their cool guy attitudes at first, start getting angry over the fact they both can't play because of their tamas, and get to talk about their personal stuff as the game plays, forming that bond between them.

Whether Falco joins the knights or not, I think him and Key could really become good friends!! Similar traumas and situations, seems like the perfect set up :)

And yeahhh, this turned out longer than I thought but oh well, I do love to yap so

I am fully caught up and I had a lot of fun!!!

I was happy to learn there were more aqua than we ever thought, Oro's plot of having to chose between his terra family and aqua family had me to tears bro, I am so happy he chose to stay with the tikis!!!! <3

I also love that we got to see more of the genies/aqua in general, even the bet between Oro and Nemo, I love those little creatures and I was happy to even see them hanging out!!

The romance plot between Corto and Manta had me hooked actually. I like Corto and Sun too but you can tell Manta is probably gonna be a better pick for Corto. But it would be funny if she just goes with nobody since she's currently indecisive.

I LOVED the animation, always had!! Some stunts they pulled with Corto's droning were REALLY COOL, like the special move she learned from Scarlet, one of my faves truly!!

If s3 ever happens, I really hope we get to explore that aqua civilization, I love the whole aqua lore!!
