Ah yes the mlm and wlw solidarity. I love drawing Karl in tied up hair. (He stolen Kafka’s eyeliner and Kafka chased him in the hallway after finding out. 😭)

This just looks more like why "dis 🐦 look mad" tbh- Kafka’s face expression isn't always frowning or neutral. She pretty much doesn't realizes she's doing it. (A reason why some of the villagers are so scared to approach her-)

Kafka has slight muscles in her arms due to her job at the graveyard, like carrying heavy stuff and digging or burying corpse. Her body type is curvy but she has very strong thighs because she often used her legs a lot as combat. (Also uses her hands sometimes.) Her prosthetic leg enhances her speed and durability, which she can easily break things with her left leg alone.

There's a obvious favoritism the way I shade these two

Kafmia enemies to lovers but they are doomed toxic yuri. Cause yea miscommunication and etc. Kafka genuinely loves Mia but her way of showing affection can vary, and sometimes it executes poorly. Additionally, Kafka is pretty much forced to face up against Mia from orders by Mother bird herself.

I like to think that Kafka helps Mia in finding Rosemary and escape the village in my au despite being one of the Lords, though Kafka never considered herself as one but likely had to put the title for benefits. (In my lore Kafka is one of the most likely respected Lords in the village.)

Kafka knows everything on the village especially the exit paths. Which, she could have left the village early but chose not too. As if she wouldn't see a future for her in the outside world, if anything, Kafka believes she's doomed from the start.

Yes Kafka canonically and unfortunately dies for Mia in my lore. :( (Poor Mia is not getting a break.)

(How did Kafka died? Well let's say Kafka got killed by a certain Mother Miranda for betraying her.) Also Kafka shared her first kiss with Mia but Mia couldn't process it properly because Kafka was immediately ripped out by Miranda. Kafka knowns herself that she cannot live without Mia, where as Mia can live without her.

Random facts.:

Kafka likes to classic literature, she would spend most of her time reading in the library.

Kafka most of the time she wears a jackdaw bird mask. (Inspired by the plague doctor mask.) She does take them off, but it's quite fun to see villagers being intimidated by her. Especially Alcina's maids.

Kafka is an coffee addict. Karl literally had to take the coffee away from her.

She and Donna are quite close! Donna sews clothes for her while Kafka listens to Angie yapping. This is also where Kafka learnt sewing from her.

Her favorite animals are birds, penguins and crows. She likes bugs too.

Kafka would make embroideries for Karl, mainly horses. She also does secretly give horses doodles and sneaks it in his journal for fun.

Kafka’s favorite Dimitrescu sister would be Cassandra.

A few villagers would visit the graveyard for their loved ones and Kafka would escort them. Children also visit to play with her.

Despite having a perfect charming and a calm facade, Kafka is kind and loyal to others she trusts.

She despises ignorance or disrespect despite having a twin who's exactly that.

Kafka is scarily observant.

Kafka has nightmares about Karl screaming in pain or dying.

Kafka gets jealous of Karl being able to express himself, unlike her.

Kafka wished she never have the cadou in the first place

Kafka can't remember her face of her biological parents. She can't even see any gravestones of their names neither.

As a child after getting taken by Miranda, the twins were experimented separately. Kafka back then clings to Karl as teenagers because she was afraid he will be gone if she blinks.

Kafka wears gloves due to her fingertips have slightly purple gradient to it. Her hands are very cold and she hates it.

Kafka at the young age practiced appearing normal like smiling and being practically social. As well as putting a charming persona. She does this just to survive in a environment she didn't ask for. Even if it means her calculated manipulativeness is for her curiosity or survival.

Due to growing up and not having any normal interactions or positive social cues. Kafka finds it confusing sometimes to understand emotions as others do. Yes other times she does have empathy but most of the time she struggles.

Kafka doesn't need to sleep due to the cadou. Often she sleeps with her eyes open. She forgotten the concept of actually sleeping.

Kafka got again separated by Karl as teenagers after she just got her prosthetic leg. She was sent to the graveyard as her new domain. A decision made by Mother Miranda.

Kafka struggles to express affection towards others.

Kafka thinks Karl hates her like the rest of the Lords. She blames herself for being separated by him as teens even though it clearly wasn't her fault.

Kafka has mommy issues. She absolutely will never forget the things Mother Miranda did to her and her brother. (She onced ripped a page of Miranda's note about her. She was going to burn it but hides it.) She also has low self-worth and self-destructive tendency.

Kafka has a rather pessimistic view of the world, she believes that she was fated for unhappiness. No any attempts of trying will help her.

Kafka would rather die first than Karl dying before she sees his death.

She has a obsessed attachment towards Mia because Mia was different from the others, she was imperfect yet interesting.. Kafka believes it's "one-sided" and thinks that Mia will never reciprocate. Kafka is also willing to sacrifice for Mia too.

Kafka is very gentle to Mia, yes Kafka can be cruel like her twin. But Kafka is doting and gentle to Mia because she can break her easily but choses not too.

Kafka is just like me. I love reading and spending time in a setting surrounded by books. I have a soft spot for classical literature 🫶 her wearing a mask actually adds a very interesting design to her character, and i love it so much. I do remember you telling me about her coffee addiction and Karl being the one to take it, and Alcina has to scold Karl about letting Kafka sleep😭😭. WAIT, I LOVE THE IDEA OF KAFKA BEING CLOSE WITH DONNA. i always headacanon Donna and Karl being the closest of the two. it's just something i always thought of. It's such a cute concept. And now two Heisenbergs??? Yeah, i def headacanon they both are close with Donna. 😩. Her favorite animals fit her aesthetic but the bug....Kafka...please honey...no...shes such a good sister making embroidery for Karl🥹🥹. Despite her looks and her resting bitch face, she seems so gentle and i love her for that😭😭. Kafka being observant is peak Character development.
