Of her three options, id argue that Kafka was the most reasonable to learn from. Elio was.. probably more often ‘seemingly possessed cat’ than a guy.. and TB is TB.

I’d argue that you can see Kafka’s influence on Firefly too!

Firefly likes makeup, and cute dressee, and trying new sweets. Kafka seemingly has some semblance of a shopping issue.

Oh, Firefly was once gifted a pink peach scented lipstick by Kafka, because Kafka believed it suited her.

Also in that interaction is the possibility for a lowk in hindsight pretty sad moment, where Firefly asks TB for advice on a souvenir for Kafka. You can reply ‘sorry idk her that well’ and Firefly will backpedal, mentioning she thought they were close based on how much Kafka talks about them.

Its sad because Firefly knows that they were close, at least once. And it also theoretically implies that the other Hunters werent as clear on how genuinely distant Kafka keeps herself from TB till it started to get worse..

Anyways. Firefly & Kafka remain underrated!!

Also its a really funny concept for both Firefly & Trailblazer to have had similar struggles with being a person, and Kafka of all people being the one to have to correct them on stuff like social rules lmao.

If we get a trio of them in the future it would actually make me lose my shit.

And also probably all the characters around them lowk annoyed as hell because wdym they have to deal with three times the yearning…

first of all, regardless of it being caelus or stelle, kafka is calling them ‘daddy’ to mess with them, and you cannot change my mind. firefly would lowk end up doing it as well.

okay so like, Kafblazer as parents? yeah they’re a different font of Gomez & Morticia Addams. Tell me im wrong. You cannot. Im right. They would be.

anyways. kafka absolutely gives off ‘girl mom’ vibes. She would absolutely adore her daughter, and that girl would get away with literally everything. No, I dont think Kafka would be controlling in the slightest. She’d want her child to be raised with freedom, and comfort she and her partners never got. That girl will grow up adored and spoiled to high hell. It is literally just the other two keeping her from being entirely a spoilt brat, because Kafka in fact would just. roll with everything.

give that woman a little boy, and its not much different- but Kafka would raise that boy right. Somehow the most spoilt, respectful guy. He’d be a paradox and Kafka would be proud.

Firefly would be almost just as weak-willed. She gives hella boy-mom type vibes, idk why, but she does to me. However, she literally would never care as long as her kid is healthy. She would actually be ecstatic to go clothes shopping, regardless of the gender. She’d be the kinda mom who has WAYYY too many baby clothes. Firefly would try to be stricter about rules, but one puppy-dog stare.. and she breakd. Especially when you consider the fact that that puppy-dog stare would be learnt from Kafka or TB. She’d break.

“We have treats at home!” “Mamaaaa 🥺 pleaseeeee?” Cue them getting that ice cream at home. She’s trying her best but unfortunately she had the willpower of s wet paper bag here.

Trailblazer is, ironically, the person who actually keeps everyone on track. Trailblazer imo, would be actually a great parent. Look at them in game! They’re great with kids! Like genuinely, they’re amazing with them. Trailblazer is what keeps the kids from getting to be spoiled. Yeah those puppy dog eyes are cute, but they arent gonna break. No ice cream on the way home.

Ngl, Trailblazer seems like they’d be one hell of a stay at home parent. (All things considered im like 98% sure that before Blade, TB was the Stellaron Hunter’s homemaker lmao. “Blade sit down, i gotta teach you to file our taxes.” “…why me?” “Im sorry, you want the other three to do it?” “… fair enough.”) But yeah. TB being a stay at home parent for at least the kids younger sounds absolutely adorable, and yes, it is imo, in character.

They’d be on top of all the schedules- doctors appointments, extracurriculars, big tests, recitals, etc. Regardless of how many there are to keep track of, or how many kids. TB knows. Probably once a day, they’re reminding the other two about something for the kids. (Yeah, plural. Look me in the eyes and tell me these guys would not have at least 3.) Its not that the other two forget- they’re just used to being in-line with the scripts. Also TB is going to remember the exact location and time. They only really need to mention it once ofc. They’ll just remind once every so often leading up to it just in case.

Oh, Firefly also seems like a sports-mom and idk why. Like I can totally see her as one of those moms that will cheer on her kid at every game and come to every practice. And other kids. Its somehow not really gonna be stressful for the kid though, i mean its Firefly. But yeah. She’s also totally the mom with the best snacks. Which are probably moreso TB & Blade’s handiwork lol. Oh and she would totally fist fight a coach or ref. Not even just for her kid. But an unfair call made? Ohhhh, good luck buddy.

Kafka would totally sign her kids up for performing arts stuff. Dance, theatre, instruments.. she wouldn’t force them to do it if they dislike it. But come on. Its Kafka’s kid. At least one of them is gonna be artsy as hell. Kafka isnt a patient woman… but she’s as patient with her kid as she is with TB.

I do see her judging though, at recitals and/or performances. Not the kids, to be clear. But their parents. Especially when she can tell that some of those other kids want to be anywhere but up on that stage. And since its Kafka… yeah she wouldnt bother hiding her judgement. It would mortify Firefly (she’s too much of a sweetheart bro) and TB would just be hella amused.

These kids lucked the fuck out in like every way ngl. Set up for success in every way.. anyone who bullies them is jealous, and boy do they know it.

actually ngl, the most bullying they’ll experience is probably gonna be the torment of having hot parents. (a pain i know all too well…)

But yeah. Beyond their own immediate family being stacked… dude they’d be The Nepo Babies of the universe omfg.

The one to be the most anxious about having a baby would be Firefly. Kafka, regardless of feeling fear by then or no, has so much faith in the other two. And TB has faced worse than a baby. They all have. They’ve got thissss, its fine!

Anyways, Kafka and Firefly 100% both never thought they’d have kids.

Firefly, because of what she is. The fact she was destined to burn out. She was a soldier. She was never meant to have kids.

But if she’s just a normal girl.. well, isnt it normal to have a kid with her partner?

We dont need to worry about her actual physical capacity to have kids. That can be ignored.

As for Kafka? Look at her past. Look at her now. Thats not a person who thinks kids are in the cards for her.

Is that to say she, or Firefly, havent wanted them? No. Ofc not. Ofc they have, at some point in their lives. Probably when they were young, or interacting with children and having the thought of “what if it was me?”

But wanting, and thinking you’ll have the chance to have them… those are not the same.

The only one who ever really assumed they would would be TB. It wouldnt have been like, a proper desire. But more of a realization when taking care of kids they know, that they do enjoy this. They like kids, they’re good with kids, kids like them.. thus the reasonable conclusion that they’ll have them, eventually.

It’d be the TB who brings it up. When everything has ended, when they get their happy ending (they’ll all live trust, mr hoyoverse is my uncle). They’ll ask, and they would be content with any answer they got. They’d like to have kids, but like.. its not a big deal if their partners dont. Theyd rather the two of them be happy.

The question would probably ofc, lowk break Firefly and Kafka. Because it’d be the first time ever, that they realize, oh. oh they could. and they do want kids. they love the other two, and they want a ‘proper’ family with them.

That, or they see TB holding a baby or playing with a kid, and BAM, neuron activation. SOBF.. sudden onset baby fever.

they need that gray haired menace pregnant and now. YES TB WOULD CARRY.. INCLUDING CAELUS. Maybe Kafka. I cant see it being Firefly who carries, mostly bc it feels ooc for TB (or Kafka) to even think about putting her body under unnecessary stress, regardless of if she’s healed or not.

They’d be amazing parents. Less of a mess than you’d think. I dont think that they’d really fuck their kids up much. The only scenario i see them with kids IS in an epilogue, post-canon situation.

Also none of them really seem to have any generational trauma theu could feasibly pass down. Like they’re fucked up but.. i mean. far as we know, they’re orphans. (Dw they have Grandpa Welt!!)

The kids would have a HOMICIDAL hatred of bugs and insects of any and all varieties. Not just from Firefly. But TB has been fucked up by them as well. And i personally believe that the pteruges-v devils were insectoid in nature.

Oh also the phrase ‘see you tomorrow’ is banned in their household full stop. It could be whispered, and you’d just hear a choked sob from the other room because They Know.

For all of them, but damn is Firefly the fucking victim in this case.

Like.

Imagine you have two people you’re in love with. You know they love you back. The three of you have been together for ages, though maybe not really dating together. You also know, that they are quite literally, each other’s fucking destiny - aka soulmates.

You are not their soulmate.

But its fine. Its fine. You are still their partner and they still adore you as much as you them.

(It doesnt at all hurt to think about the fact that no matter how much they love you, you are not their soulmate. Their love, your love, it is not powerful enough to change fate like that.)

And then you lose one of the two you love. They do not die, not exactly. The person you knew is dead in part- memories gone, and even were they to return, they would not truly be the same for their new life will have changed them. But its fine. Its for the greater good.

She is still their destiny, and you are not.

You are fine, even as the person you love begins to walk a path opposite to yours. You are fine, even as your other partner retreats into herself, into nihility. You are fine, even as you are dying, metaphorically and very, very literally.

They still love you. She loves you maybe less than before, as she slowly falls further into the darkness than only they can pull her from. They love you more than they love her, because they simply know you better, have spent more time with you. It changes nothing.

That is not your role. It has never been. It will never be. It is only theirs, and perhaps, almost certainly really, will only ever be theirs.

You hope their love for you can change things. You hope it can pull her back from the edge she is letting herself slip off. TB sleeps in the middle 9/10, bc they’re warm and the other two are smaller.. and TB is absolutely hella comfortable to lay on. Have you seen them??? Both of them??? I wanna sleep on them.

Honestly it probably wouldnt be much different than how they lived pre-Blade. But like. With less morally dubious activities and looming doom over all of them.

Another would be if the lack of fear would be passes down to TB and Kafka's offspring, because if so raising a child like that would be quite the challenge (also I genuinely believe their children would most certainly have a freaky biology thanks to TB, cause I genuinely cannot see theses kids not having their own unique biology traits)

Theoretically, Kafka’s bio kids should be perfectly capable of feeling fear. Kafka is seemingly totally baseline human. The non-human parts of her, are the inability to feel fear, and also id say the ‘turning into a devil’ thing. However. Theres also a significant amount of implication that both of those things, are caused by the Stellaron on Pteruges-V. Meaning, if the kids arent born and raised there, they should be fine.

And also have you met a small child? You think those fucking things have any fear? Ive watched my toddler sister try and walk into a street one too many times. They either are wholly fearless, or scared of the most bullshit thing, like a bird flying five feet over their head. or more often, fearless with the exception of random bullshit.

Regardless, i’d say that they’d be fine raising a fearless child. I mean, Kafka 100% had worse parents than Kafblazerfly, and she’s fine. And Kafka has experience and TB and Firefly would both probably be fine as well. Theoretically lowk anxious about the kids wellbeing, but thats normal for parents. Esp first time parents lmao.

Seriously, I can see their kids being a complete menace to the whole cosmos, the moment they were born every being felt a chill down their spine, im sure of this. Only other being a imagine surpassing them would be a child between TB and Acheron (even if it's very improbable to happen even on fanfiction) a kid between these two would be a walking calamity.

Silver Wolf would be annoyed by them on the surface, but the woman is actually a softy. She fucking loves them. Will lowk refer to them as brats constantly but she still loves them. The minute one starts talking after the TB in their love of video games she’s trying to not celebrate. That kid will have THE best gaming set up, even if its just for HSR-sims and that alone. And yes, its all 95% from Silver Wolf.

Elio.. idk how he’d interact with them, bc we still dont know his character much. But i imagine he’d be seriously happy to see them. After all, they’re the living proof that he succeeded. That he did it, and got the best timeline. Now, i imagine that fucking cat would be their best friend.

March lowk probably has more pictures of them than their parents. Simply because she is in fact cheating. She does NOT need to be there to take pictures after all. Every year she probably gives a picture book of the past year of wtv kids bday it is. She’s in a lowk (not) one-sided competition to see whose the better aunt with Silver Wolf. (Evernight will be ‘neutral’ on them, but the second an unknown Remembrance mf approaches them she’s pulling the trigger the second it wont scare the kid.)

Dan Heng is probably similar to Blade, but he’s somewhat less willing to dress up. But he will totally let them play with his tail when little, he finds it cute. Similar to Elio, he’s also just happy to see them, because.. well they’re again, the living representation of the Trailblazer’s happy ending. All Dan Heng really wants for his loved ones is for them to be safe and happy after all.

Himeko is NOT their ‘grandma’, do not ever say that to her face she will in fact hit you. Nah, but she is like. the wine aunt, i’d say. But with coffee. Ngl some part of me thinks she would have no idea how to interact with a child. That one ‘wanna beer’ ‘he’s five!’ audio but like. himeko themed. “… wanna play with a canon?” “HIMEKO SHE’S FIVE?” Nah, but I imagine she’d do better with them when they’re like, 12+ lmao. She may not know what to do with them, but she loves them anyways.

Welt however. That man is their grandfather and he is very gladly grandpa welt. Deadass the stereotypical doting grandfather. The first time he got called Grandpa Welt or smth to his face he died a little inside. They can never know about his past (and i specifically mean Idol Welt.)

Sunday idk if he knows how to interact with children. At least from much experience. He would be good with them though. Mostly bc of his lack of experience, I feel like he’d be one of those people that falls for the “My mom said its okay!!” Thing frequently. The children will always manage to get themselves a toy or sweet treat… probably the latter more than toys, i imagine they’d get Firefly’s sweet tooth. Sunday cant help it, he wants them to like them! He’ll only say yes to one treat when they’re out with him, cause like, cavities, but they’re still gonna get one. The children love uncle Sunny, he’s fun.

Pom-Pom.. pom-pom treats them the same as everyone else. No he doesn’t csre that that is a toddler. Careful with that juice! Oh also he’s secretly glad that he’s no longer the default for when March decides its time to dress someone up. Actually scratch that, they dont get treated the same as everyone else. Whether they’re permanent members or not (and id argue they were, its way more likely for Kafka and Firefly to just move in and start a family on the Express than for the Trailblazer to literally ever depart it imo), they get treated like VIPs. They still have to follow the same rules.. but Pom-Pom wouldnt dare scold them.

Out of the chrysos heirs… while obviously like, Phainon and Cyrene were aggressively dote on the kids, i also want to make an argument that Aglaea would be pretty good with them. Based on her history lmao? I mean come on. The Tribbies would also adore them. They might be bad influences though… Cipher would also not be a good influence. But she’d also be way better with them than first assumed- i mean she had a whole collection of orphans she looked out for. Anaxa would not be trusted to watch them alone. Simply bc.. look the man will get an epiphany in the middle of teaching a class and fuck off for several days. I’d say he’s perfectly trustworthy in terms of keeping them safe and healthy, but he might get sidetracked. And yes, he will treat them as students. Even if they cannot fucking read or talk. Never too young to start learning!

I think Castorice might lowk be terrified of them. Simply bc she’s still got the worry about her death touch. Mydei is also pretty canonically good with kids. He will probably teach them to throw hands when they’re like 8 or so though. Actually Phainon and Mydei might each pick one kid to mentor. They will fan the flames for a healthy family rivalry. (Out of tbe Chrysos heirs, the kids favorite mentor is lowk Hysilens tho.) Cerydra insists on teaching them strategy. One of those kids IS gonna be a fucking strategic prodigy, its Kafka and TB’s offspring. That one will be Cerydra’s favorite. And Hyacine makes sure they know the basics of first aid as soon as they’re old enough to understand. Also Little Ica would be absolutely adored.

Other characters that immediately come to mind.. Robin would probably be lowk amused as hell that Sunday managed to become an uncle without her having kids. She probably just adopts them as her own nephew/nieces as well lol. Yukong & Natasha both get asked for parenting advice, just straight up. Hook and Clara are the most adoring pseudo older siblings, regardless of the age gap. Yunli & Yanqing lowk revert back to the days of bickering over March’s training.

Ruan Mei is not allowed to be around them unsupervised. For multiple reasons. One of which is that theres some concern in regards to the fact that.. well look, while Kafka is seemingly fairly standard biologically, the other two sure as hell aint. They’re probably the bane of Asta and Arlan’s anxiety. Any time they’re on the station, all of a sudden the security department is on the highest alert. Herta is probably equal parts amused and fascinated by them. And yes she has a soft spot for them that she will deny.

I can see Aventurine & Topaz having a subtle rivalry as to who can spoil them more. Its highly amusing to their parents. They’re told they can accept gifts from Aventurine and Topaz- but never from Jade. Not until they’re older. Constance isnt allowed around them. That’s specifically Kafka’s decision, the woman has been WAY too fascinated with her partners. Firefly is lowk still kinda sus of Acheron and Black Swan, but they just are at the same level of supervised time as Ruan Mei. It’d be funny if Acheron had the habit of remembering stuff about the kids better than other people lmao. Oh, and I 100% believe Boothill would fucking love them. Dude would be lethally protective of them too. He is one of THE safest babysitters, those kids wouldnt get so much as a scratch on them. (He knows the pain of losing a kid. Its not one he’s going to let anyone he cares about live through.)

These kids are literally the most nepo baby kids to ever nepo baby. Their parents are two(three) Stellaron Hunters, and basically the face of the Astral Express. Beyond that, they’ve got insane connections. At any given time they have at least like 2 Emanators willing to blow a bitch up on speed dial.

The universe absolutely took a moment to pause when they were born. They’re literally going to be some of THE most capable beings in the universe- the fucking education they’ll get?? Ntm they’re genetically predisposed to being op.

Anyways, as for the Kafblazerfly relationship.. look Blade & Silver Wolf would both basically go “fucking finally, it took you forever” no matter how long it takes. They’ve been stuck with these yearners longer than anyone else! Except for Elio. But Elio is half the reason it took so long (and also half the reason they’ve managed to get together in the end) so he cant complain.

The Express wouldnt be surprised about TB & Firefly at all. They’d be surprised about Kafka. But like, for all of five minutes, and in those five minutes itd be them thinking back on Kafka & TB’s interactions and then going “wait. no. this makes sense.”

I stand by Himeko having a much larger soft spot for Firefly than most criminal companions, based on their similar illnesses. Himeko would accept Kafka’s presence. I dont think she’d be happy about it. But she would. Look, if she makes TB (and Firefly) happy, and truly cares about them and their safety (she does and Himeko knows that) she’ll accept it.

March basically clocked TB being down bad for Kafka on the Luofu. Welt probably did as well. And Dan Heng cant talk, he’s got whatever the fuck is happening with Blade.

I think most people would be surprised and then take a moment and change their mind about that. The Chrysos heirs are the most genuinely supportive beyond the other Hunters. Cyrene especially, actually. She knows ALLLLL about the yearning.
