So the girl who wanted to quit after the second lesson as she thought she was making a fool of herself has today done two martial art graduations! Yellow belt in kickboxing and 1st grade in Sai-Jitsu (think Elektra or Raphael, you get the idea). After the last three weeks one belt would have been a big enough achievement, two feels incredible. Weapons. We went through all our weapons. Starting with Tonfa, all strikes/combos 20x each. Then we did Tonfa 1 Kata 2 times. Then Sai 1, 3 times. Then Bo 1 and Bo 2 a couple of times. Good class reviewing weapons for sure.

Weapons. We started with kicks then did Taigo 1, 4-5 times with push-ups in between. Then split up and worked Bo 1 and 2 over and over. I got to do Bo 2 on my own for Sensei and I put everything I had into it. Wasn’t perfect but I fought hard with it.
