I wanted to apologize for my unintended hiatus. Truth be told, the past few months have been very difficult for me. I've struggled a lot with depression, and my health hasn't been the best. It's been hard to even get myself out of bed in the mornings. I've always been a happy person, but recently life events have just completely turned my world around. In all honesty, I didn't even notice myself slipping. I've become someone I don't recognize, and I'm upset with myself.
But I know that some of the first steps to healing are realizing that you need to make a change. I can't change my life events, but I can change my attitude towards those events.
Until April, my college is essentially on pause. This has given me lots of free time. I want to take this freetime to engage in activities that will make me happier, which includes this blog because ALL OF YOU ARE WONDERFUL β€οΈ
I want to take this as an opportunity to grow as a human, and better myself. Many others are struggling during this time as well, and the best we can do for ourselves is band together and bring each other's spirits up. <3
I just wanted to be real with y'all for a minute. You all deserved an explanation as to why I've kept disappearing. I'm really struggling, but I've made the first couple of steps to better myself. And I hope I continue to grow in my happiness.
